First Snoop Continued: Number One Snoop Mommy and the Eldest of the Snoops!

Maybe the fact that Nancy survived to give birth to the Greatest Generation of Snoops is a bit of a giveaway on the old Very First Snoop tales—perhaps the reason Nancy’s sleuthing adventures from her youth have not been as popular as those of her daughters—but I think we can all be grateful that Nancy survived her adventures to give us our favorite Snoops!

That was a trick in and of itself! Nancy’s marriage to her high-school sweetheart Richie Dwight was never prosperous in terms of finances, but very loving. By the time Richie died, in fact—check out The Case of the Deadly Dossier to find out more about his unfortunate demise—Nancy had given him five kids, with another—Richie Junior—on the way! Of those five, four were daughters, all of which caught various degrees of the Snoop bug!

First of all is Nancy’s eldest, Abby—that is, Abigail Lauren. Abby was ten when Richie died, so when the deadly dossier from the tale with the eponymous name resurfaced many years down the road, it was only natural for her to try to decipher its mystery! By that time her younger Snoop sisters had been through several dangerous mysteries and could have warned her about the danger, but they were as excited about figuring out the file as Abby was!

You may have noticed that there is both an Abby and an Abbie, but that is a tale for another time. Specifically an upcoming tale, tentatively entitled The Snowden Snoops: Little Girls Lost, which I hope to start in summer or early fall of 2009!
