Not Really the Second String...

...but since I'm still in the middle of The Darius Allen Detective Club: Boyfriend Trouble, I decided to do a pair of illustrations of one of the not-quite-as-major (yet?) players in the Darius Allen Detective Club, one Paula Ryan. You can check out her bio on the Snoops Primer at GDIT, but the gist of Paula Ryan is fairly simple. She's a

distinctly social-phobic, mousy young woman with a bright intellect, a way with the written word, and a connection with the Dwights in the person of her boyfriend Richie Dwight Jr., whom she adores but fears to lose to her classmate, the runway-model-esque Devan Jensen. And usually, she's not this dressed up, but in this case, she's at a dance and decided that wearing her mom's best dress would impress Richie. But it's not such a good fashion choice for solo snooping, it turns out...
